The 3 star Hotel Coleshill Hotel is in the centre of this market town, just off the M6 motorway and within easy access of the NEC. En-suite rooms at the Hotel Coleshill are located in the main building, or the Georgian annexe across the road. They include flat screen television, telephone and beverage making facilities. Rooms are comfortably furnished with attractive decor. Cosy and welcoming communal areas include the oak beamed Nook. Additional facilities include Wi-Fi and parking. The bar is a place to meet and enjoy real ales, wines and a full range of drinks. Breakfast is served in the restaurant which later specialises in traditional British cuisine. Alternative dining options include the Red Lion and several Indian restaurants in the vicinity. The Warwickshire countryside is on the doorstep and at the other end of the spectrum; Birmingham’s city centre is a seventeen minute journey from Hotel Coleshill Parkway station.
Just wander outside and there’s more choice of shops, bars and restaurants than you would expect. The hotel, though, has much to offer with well priced food and drink and attractive and clean en-suite rooms.
This is a real boon for guests … but fairly restricted, so be warned!
Very accommodating, tell them what you’re looking for and they’ll point you in the right direction. Rooms are clean and all areas seem to operate at full efficiency levels; except, perhaps, the really very slow bar service.
They say they’ve got a car park … and yes, in fairness, this is what they have. They don’t tell you, though, that space is limited and it’s quite likely to be full. In which case it’s every man for himself as you scour the streets looking for a space.
The bar can be ‘heaving’ with no chance of getting served. Ask staff for a solution + they’ll send you to the Red Lion across the road. Food’s good there too!
It seems that the heating system has won and defied all efforts to control it. Not altogether a bad thing during the winter but, come July when it’s still blasting away to full capacity, it ceases to have any appeal!
