La Casa Gran is a bed & breakfast based in a monumental building called les Cases Almirall, in the heart of l'Eixample district. It is a traditional Barcelona house from the beginning of the twentieth century, and has preserved its original structure and backyard patio. This is a small boutique B&B where the comfort of our guests, integration with our local community & products and responsible management are our top priorities. The property is located between two of the main streets of the city, Avinguda Diagonal and Muntaner. It is a lively area with an extraordinary gastronomic scene and home to some of the top restaurants of the city. La Casa Gran is walking distance to the main tourist attractions, such as La Pedrera (11 minutes), Casa Batlló (15 minutes) and Las Ramblas or the Gothic quarter, which are no more than 25 minutes. Sagrada Família is also in a pleasant walking distance through Diagonal and Eixample streets. If you prefer public transport, we have excellent bus connections to any part of the city and the closest metro station (Diagonal) is 7 minutes' walk from us. For convenient sightseeing of the whole city, the tourist bus service stops right in front of the B&B!
