The Whistler Museum and Archives tells the story of the human and natural history of the resort of Whistler and its surrounding area. This story is told through various exhibitions. There are both permanent displays that are held here as well as temporary exhibitions. Throughout the year there also are several special events and programs. There is a shop on site, which features locally made products and also sells books on the local area. The opening hours of the museum are: September through to June: Thursday from 10am until 8pm and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am until 4pm During July and August: open daily from 10am until 4pm, with the exception of Thursday when it is open until 8pm. The admission charges are: Adults - $5.00 (4 Euros) Concessions - $4.00 (3 Euros) Children (aged 7-17 years) - $3.00 (2 Euros) Children under 6 - Free
