Tretjakov Gallery (Moscow, Russia)

Das Hauptgebäude der Tretjakow Galerie in Moskau befindet sich in der Lawruschinski-Gasse. 1995 wurde die Galerie nach Renovierungsarbeiten neu eröffnet. Sie besitzt insgesamt 65 Räume, in denen mehr als 140.000 Werke fast aller russischen Künstler zu sehen sind. Das Alter der Kunstwerke reicht vom 11.- Anfang 20. Jahrhundert zurück. Ein Großteil der Kunstsammlung ist im Hauptgebäude der Galerie in Samoskworetschje ausgestellt. Zu sehen sind unter anderem Gemälde, Ikonen, Skulpturen sowie Zeichnungen und Grafiken. Öffnungszeiten sind täglich (montags geschlossen) von 10:00 bis 19.30 Uhr, Einlass bis 18.30 Uhr An Wochenenden wird empfohlen, die Galerie in den Morgenstunden zu besuchen, da sie tagsüber sehr voll wird. Die Ticketpreise variieren sehr und sind für Ausländer erhöht. Sie sollten vor dem Besuch auf der Homepage eingesehen werden.
