Situated right on the famous Old Arbat Street, Landmark City Hotel offers a variety of hostel style accommodation and great communal amenities, all at a terrific price. Accommodation available ranges from a bed in a eight person dorm to a private twin room with wardrobe and in-room safe. All rooms share communal bathrooms. Guests are free to use the modern and well equipped kitchen, which also comes supplied with tea, coffee and other kitchen essentials. Guests can get their clothes looking clean and fresh again in the free laundry, while techies (and others) will be happy that Wi-Fi is free of charge and accessible throughout the building. A simple breakfast is available every morning, but guests will find a great selection of cafes and restaurants nearby along Old Arbat Street, including the Hard Rock Café. Smolenskaya Station on the Moscow Metro, perhaps the greatest metro system in the world, is just 400 yards from Landmark City Hotel.
Guests were very pleased with the location of the hostel. Though not right on Red Square, the hostel was nonetheless said to be quite central, with the nearest metro station just a minute or two away. Guests also mentioned that, despite being on Old Arbat Street, the hostel was nevertheless relatively quiet, which most appreciated.
Almost all the reviews contained praise for the hostel's staff in some form or another. Guests typically said that they were very friendly and helpful, and had the sort of understanding attitude that made guests feel a little bit at home, though for most home was a considerable distance away.
