Mariinsky Theatre (St Petersburg, Russia)

Das Mariinski-Theater wurde 1870 gebaut. Hier werden Opern, Theater- und Ballettstücke aufgeführt. Berühmte Balletttänzer wie Nurejew und Barischnikow waren in diesem Theater zu Hause. Im Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde das Theater zerstört, aber schon während der deutschen Belagerung wieder aufgebaut. Während der Sowjetzeit hieß das Theater “Kirow” und viele kennen es noch unter diesem Namen. Der Preis liegt bei 700 Rubel (ca. 8 €) für einen Sitz auf der Gallerie. Den geringen Tarif bekommen nur Bürger der Russischen Föderation.
