Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel (Sydney, Australia)

The hotel locale is fantastic! Nice pathways for walks are close by. Watsons Bay Beaches and Camp Cove are near and getting to the city only takes around twenty-minutes. The bay and CBD views are exceptional.

This place is filled with modernity. For example, there is a switch in the room that lights up the “do not disturb sign” or “make my room” outside your room door. There is also a doorbell as well. The Rooms are generously sized, pristine, and beds are comfortable. The bathroom is worth a few pictures on its own.

The Wi-Fi is superb! Not only in the room but throughout the hotel

If you are near the kitchen area you may be disturbed throughout the night by the kitchen extractor. If your room overlooks the bar/restaurant section, which is crowded until late at night, it can get pretty noisy. A room with a harbour view will find you directly over an alley. The noise from the garbage collectors and trash pick-up from the downstairs pub is deafening.

The continental breakfast is not so continental. The choice is limited especially when it comes to fruits and breads. Other meals simply lack in taste and preparation. Too much oil, batter, and poor seasoning doesn’t make for a good lunch or dinner. The meals aren’t cheap either!

Ordering food to eat in the sunroom will be a test of your athletic abilities. You have to order at the bar, then run downstairs to pick up your food in the kitchen, and then go to your eating area. There must be a simpler way!
