About The Belmont Hotel

This grand hotel, The Belmont, is all about life’s little luxuries with mineral water on arrival and a turndown service every evening. Guests can also order fresh flowers, fruit and chocolates to their room. Guests are able to choose from single or double rooms all of which have an en suite. Tea and coffee making facilities, an LCD television with freeview and Sky Sports, hairdryer, iron, telephone and Gilchrist and Soames toiletries are all available in rooms. Some rooms are south facing with a balcony. Free Wi-Fi is available as is free parking. Dinner dances are held every Saturday and there is the use of an indoor pool at the hotel’s sister property next door. There is also a putting green. Original 19th century chandeliers still hang in the sliver service restaurant where there is a formal dress code of jacket and tie. Guests can enjoy afternoon tea or a beverage on the terrace. The Belmont has beautiful sea views and Sidmouth is only a flat walk away along the Esplanade.
