Superb location for exploring the sights and getting some rest, especially for those with dogs. A lovely log fire will greet you during the winter months. Nestled in a charming village very much worth exploring with plenty of convenient parking off the street. Don't miss the church and windmill; both are within walking distance.
Most enjoyed their meals here from start to finish. Reasonably priced with a relaxed atmosphere and courteous service. Hearty dishes with perfect vegetables and fresh, tasty beer. Breakfast is always a favourite with a wide selection of items on the buffet.
You will be made to feel at home by these welcoming, pleasant staff. Helpful and informative, you can count on them to make your stay successful.
You may hear noise from the bar downstairs or people doing in and out at closing time. If you're a light sleeper, please do bring earplugs.
Ready for a refurb pronto! From carpets to curtains, a full makeover is in order. No air conditioning available and some of the windows don't open, so ask for a cooler setting if you get uncomfortable. A fresh coat of paint and a few new furnishings around the place could make a big difference for starters.
Some felt their meals were undercooked/overcooked/watery/tasted microwaved. The kitchen was out of favourite items and the chairs/tables are wobbly. Your companion's meal may arrive sooner than yours and the wait staff quite possibly needs stronger leadership.
