You will appreciate the location of this hotel. Days Inn San Diego Chula Vista South Bay is close to many San Diego area attractions and within walking distance to several restaurants.

You will also appreciate having a complimentary breakfast while staying at this hotel.

Though not everyone may have agreed, most guests said that in general, staff members were friendly and helpful during their stay.

There have been a good amount of complaints about the quality of the hotel and its furnishings. A high number of guests said that the property is outdated and worn down. Some of the issues cited have included problems with broken air conditioners, peeling paint, old cabinets, rusty tubs, old carpet and issues with Wi-Fi signals.

There have also been a high number of complaints about rooms being dirty, especially when it comes to the bathrooms. Bedding and chairs have been said to be stained; a few guests also said tables and room furnishings were sticky. There have been some negative remarks about rooms allegedly containing several different types of bugs, including bed bugs, cockroaches and even head lice.

Some people have expressed concern with the area the hotel is situated in, citing lots of armed officers and people loitering about and partying. Some people said they did not feel safe. It may not be the best hotel for people with children.
