Reviewers liked this property's location just off Interstate 5 as it enabled hassle-free access to downtown San Diego, Chula Vista, sports venues, theme parks, area attractions, shopping malls, US-Mexico border crossings and beautiful California beaches. Another bonus was the proximity of various dining options, convenience stores, public transport links and gas stations.

Guests appreciated the way the accommodation had been renovated with modern touches like 32-inch flat-screen TVs. They also liked wide choice of rooms, including some which offered additional features like kitchens. Overall, the rooms were reportedly spacious, comfy and clean enough for a shorter budget getaway. Perks like the free parking and complimentary breakfast were a bonus, although some diners claimed the menu lacked variety. The usually affordable room rates also appealed visitors.

Many travelers said they encountered pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful personnel. However, a few guests were disappointed by occasional encounters with impolite employees or the way their complaints were handled.
