The pub serves some wonderfully tasty meals that are well above average for pub grub. There aren’t too many choices on the menu but what is available is cooked to perfection. Guests have said that there’s no need to eat elsewhere.
This is a nice residential location and because of this, the rates are quite reasonable. But the fact is that it’s only a short taxi ride from the Olympic Park which makes it a bargain for anyone attending an event there.
The rooms have been remodelled, and the staff are doing their best to keep the place in good shape. It’s nice to see that a pub with rooms can be kept so spotless, and this makes guests want to stay here again in the future.
The pub downstairs is popular with the locals and needless to say the noise makes its way up into the rooms. It’s not great if you need an early night and there seems to be no option but to pack your earplugs or read a book.
