The house keeping is excellent as rooms are meticulously cleaned. Beds feel crisp and fresh and towels are replaced daily, as are the complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee.
Creaking floor boards and squeaky beds are among some of the irritations that can crop up when staying at The Windermere Hotel. This can lead to guests feeling as though they are staying at a run down establishment.
A few rude and unhelpful staff members cast a negative shadow over the entire staff team and the hotel’s service as a whole, which is a shame as it is not a truthful depiction.
The showers run very slowly and at times there is no hot water available, forcing guests to have cold showers which can be problematic during winter.
