They've spent a fortune on this hotel and it shows in beautifully appointed public areas and rooms. Despite this, they've overlooked the fundamental problem of noise. Dividing walls seem to be wafer thin and because of its family friendly profile, noise from adjoining rooms can be a real factor. It isn't just the kids, though. The proximity to the busy road is a constant reminder of the need for sound insulation.
