The pub downstairs is well known in the local area for serving excellent pub grub and a wide range of ales and beers. You’ll feel more than satisfied with your meal no matter what you choose.

It’s easy to forget that the staff at this pub are actually working as they really seem to be enjoying themselves. They are very friendly and will do their best to help you out no matter what your problem is.

This pub is exactly what you expect a traditional English pub to look like and the rooms are no different. They are full of character, very comfortable and kept in relatively good condition. Great value for the price you pay.

While there is no mention of breakfast on the website nor even from the staff, guests have been quite shocked to realize that there really is nothing to eat in the morning. You’ll just have to hop in the car or start walking to find your morning meal.

The pub is a lively spot and full of locals enjoying a night out. This is no problem if you fancy a night out yourself but if you want an early night, you can forget it. The noise travels right up through the floors into your room.

Make no mistake, this is a lovely pub with charming rooms, but it is not what you would call the Ritz. It is getting a bit run down and could really do with some work and TLC.
