If you have an early flight from Stansted, then this could be the perfect base for a relaxing evening the night before you take off. The airport is just a short ten-minute taxi ride away so you'll have no trouble getting to your flight on time.
The people that work here are willing to assist in whatever way that they can. They have a great attitude and have lots of useful information about the local pubs and restaurants and how to get to the airport with a minimum of fuss.
There seems to be a serious problem with getting the rooms of this hotel clean enough for guests to stay in. Some people have found them to be very dirty with a lot of dust build up on various surfaces in the room.
This hotel used to provide breakfast but now offers vouchers for a nearby café. It's not a terrible idea but leaves some guests rather frustrated at having to leave the hotel for a piece of toast in the morning.
The windows here do little to keep the noise from the street out at night. If you are unlucky, you may be awoken by people leaving the pubs of the area or by other guests of the hotel coming in late at night. Pack your earplugs.
