About The Dorrington
Scenarios is a quirky pub and cafe with guestrooms that is three miles from the 16th-century Gosfield Hall and seven miles from the East Anglian Railway Museum. Modest guestrooms have en suite bathrooms plus a television with DVD player, tea/coffee making equipment, and hairdryer. There are six well equipped guestrooms at Scenarios which have double glazing and heating. Complimentary onsite parking is available. Guests receive a complimentary breakfast. The guest house is attached to a pub which serves real ales and hosts regular live music. There is also a trattoria style cafe, The Pantry, which has a selection of sandwiches, cakes, and traditional pub classics. Near the property are the popular towns of Colchester, Chelmsford, and Braintree. The guest house is also place in central Halstead, within walking distance of dining and shopping opportunities as well as Halstead Town Football Club.
