Clean and comfortable rooms – that was one of the qualities about the Derby Hotel that was consistently mentioned by former guests. Cosy beds, clean linen, spotless en-suite etc.; everything is held to a high standard.
The proprietors are of the main highlights of the hotel for virtually every guest. The warm welcome upon arrival, helping with all enquiries, cooking food to order, and so on, the hosts work very hard to make sure your stay is one that will be remembered
Admittedly this can be seen as an advantage depending on your situation, but most visitors to Blackpool are there to enjoy the major attractions the town has to offer. The Derby Hotel is out of the way to an extent, and a 20-minute trek on foot is needed
Sadly, a portion of the rooms at the hotel are not en-suite. With that said, previous guests have not mentioned any issues with using the shared bathroom.
One of the only complaints brought up by past guests is that a collection of the rooms are diminutive in size. However, this didn’t detract from the overall experience of staying at the Derby Hotel.
