The breakfast provided each morning is very tasty and well-cooked. Each morning a full English breakfast is available and cooked to order which is a great way to start the day.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and polite. The staff try hard to be courteous and accommodating to the needs of guests. The hotel is also in a great central location and is close to many transport links and to all the amenities of the town. The staff are available to advise on what to do in the city centre and can make some helpful suggestions about what to see and do.

The rooms provided are clean and comfortable and the beds and mattresses in each room are also of a good quality. Sometimes at night it can become somewhat cold in which case extra duvet blankets can be provided on request.

The hotel is unfortunately very noisy from Thursday until Sunday. The downstairs pub runs a disco with musical entertainment which can run until two in the morning. Over the road there is also a club which has very loud music over the weekends and can be busy until four in the morning. Earplugs are provided by the management free of charge to all guests as a result of this disturbance.

There is no secure on-site parking which is disappointing for guests who want to travel by car. There are parking bays available near the hotel for a small fee however.

The hotel provides Wi-Fi to all guests but unfortunately Wi-Fi is not available in all of the bedrooms. Guests who need Wi-Fi in their bedroom for whatever reason are advised to ask upon checking-in for a room that has a good Wi-Fi signal.
