Reception seems friendly enough. They are attentive and try to make the best with what they have to work with. You can also bring your furry friend along regardless of size, which is rare at most hotels.

The location of the accommodation is lovely. You can easily drive or walk to the downtown area and the Sponge Docks. You are located right across from a beautiful park on the bayou and within walking distance to many delicious restaurants and shopping.

The room and bathroom are a good size. Depending on your room you have a sofa, dining room table, microwave, fridge, and stovetop. The Wi-Fi works sufficiently as wel.

The level of access for anyone with limited mobility or elderly is missing. For example, in the bathroom there is nothing to hang onto and you could easily slip and fall.

The place needs a quick pick-me-up. You may find trash cans, dirty furnishings, horrible smells, and more. Never mind the dead roaches and bed bugs. Stained walls, ceiling, and carpet are a real turn-off.

You may run into dodgy, questionable tenants at the hotel. In fact, you may even find yourself being questioned by the police about other visitors or tenants during your stay. Keep in mind that the facility has long-term guests as well. The safety lock on the doors are inadequate and there are no smoke alarms.
