Hotel Royal North Beach (Clearwater Beach, USA)

Strictly speaking, this hotel is not a beachfront property. However, the pristine sands of Clearwater Beach are only a few steps away and for many, this quick access to the sea was one of this hotel's main talking points.

This hotel is situated in Clearwater's quieter northern end, but still very close to many of the city's main attractions. The calm atmosphere was much appreciated by guests, especially those looking for a soothing seaside vacation.

A number of visitors commented on how well-maintained and clean this property is, especially in the pool area. As if that wasn't enough, many guests felt that the little extra amenities provided by the very helpful staff - like pool toys, umbrellas and chairs - really put this independent hotel into competition with the area's bigger chain properties.

While many commented on how clean and tidy this hotel was, for some, the property was simply too retro-looking for their liking.

Some commented that their condo units did not have a washer and dryer. However, for others - especially those with heavy luggage - the lack of an elevator proved to be a bigger issue.

There is no lot here, but it is possible for guests to use off street parking. However, spaces are limited and a number of visitors reported having problems finding a spot. But, even if you do manage to grab a space, it's worth bearing in mind that these are metered spots. For many guests, the less than ideal parking situation was the one minor blip in their stay here.
