Guests were pleased to find that the rooms were more spacious than they anticipated and were decorated to a high standard. Despite the vintage decor, the rooms are equipped with all the mod-cons which the guests found very convenient.
The service at Soniat House was said to be very efficient with all the members of staff being described as friendly and attentive. Guests appreciated being offered useful tips and advice by the front desk personnel with regards to the local area whilst those who had queries or requests said that they were dealt with quickly and effectively. .
Guests reported several plumbing issues including slow drainage in the basins and tubs as well as having to wait for quite a while for the hot water to come through the taps and shower head.
The breakfasts consist of a tray of coffee and biscuits which are delivered to the rooms for the convenience of the guests however, many remarked that they would have liked more variety and choice as well as the option of cooked items. .
