The spacious rooms were a hit with guests who singled out two amenities that really made their stay a great one. The first was the excellent water pressure and the second was the large and very comfortable beds which contributed to guests getting much needed rest after a day exploring Cairns.
A number of previous guests to the hotel made very positive remarks about the staff at the hotel who it seems were willing to go above and beyond their normal duties to make helpful suggestions to guests about what to do and what to see.
From high floors, the views over the Coral Sea rated very highly amongst guest reviewers, with a number of people commenting that the views were the highlight of their stay at the hotel.
A number of guest reviews mentioned the slow speed of the Wi-Fi, whilst some guests were frustrated by the speed, others were equally frustrated about its reliability with some reviews highlighting that staying online was a struggle.
For some guests the 10 minute walk into the night markets in the centre of town was a little bit too long and their reviews commented that they thought that the hotel was too far out of the city centre. Other reviews warned future guests that Cairns is very spread out so take some good walking shoes.
