About Residenza Betta

Residenza Betta is a modern Bed and Breakfast just a few steps from the Santa Maria Novella station and Congress Palace in Florence. There are five rooms and two suites available. Guests have a choice of the single, twin, double, triple, quadruple or superior quadruple room. Each room has an en-suite, with toiletries and a hairdryer. There’s also a TV with satellite channels, air-conditioning, mini-bar, and free Wi-Fi. All rooms are non-smoking. Guests at the hotel can organize car hire, ticket service and shuttle service (with a charge). Parking is available offside, charges apply. Luggage storage is also available. The hotel has an internal courtyard to relax in. Breakfast is buffet style and served in the Residenza Betta’s dining room, where there’s also kitchen available for use – guests must bring there own food, but there is a small fee charged for using the kitchen. The suburb of Fortezza da Basso is close to the Santa Maria Novella station and the Giardino Della Fortezza and Giardino Di Valfonda.

Great Host.

The B&B is named after host Betta and almost all guests expressed their pleasure with Betta and her smiling service, who is quick to solve a problem and offer advice on the local area.

The rooms are clean and tidy according to many of the guests, free of dust and grime. Walking into a clean, well-presented room makes guests feel extra welcome.

Guests appreciated the fast and free service of the Wi-Fi, allowing them to check travel details and stay in contact with friends while away from home. It’s a service many hotels and bed and breakfasts still struggle with.

Traffic Noise.

Street noise outside filters in to the front rooms, according to some guests, affecting their sleep. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room in the back.
