The spacious conference area which is flexible and ideal for such special events as weddings, meetings, conventions, and banquets, is huge enough to comfortably accommodate 700 people.

Many guests upon check-in at Ramada Sarasota have been baffled by lack of elevators. The fact that the hotel is arranged on two floors and in a very picturesque location serves as a guest magnet, many of who reserve the higher floors only to be disappointed by the lack of this vital facility.

Traffic noise from the nearby highway has been a source of exasperation to some guests who have suggested the rooms need better soundproofing.

Although many guests give thumbs up for the beddings, they report that the mattresses are on the harder side. Moreover belated housekeeping has resulted in some rooms hosting bugs and becoming a source of unpleasant smells.
