Hotel Queens Gate Resort (Bradenton Beach, USA)

The hotel has a large courtyard and many options to relax under the sun. From your own private patio to the hotel's private beach, you'll want to spend as much time outside as possible. The front porch of the hotel has rockers, there is a multitude of patio tables around the property and there is also a gazebo area with BBQ grills and loungers. All of these places are perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and people say it's also a great way to meet other guests.

Guests loved being just across the street from the beach. The hotel is within walking distance to central Bradenton Beach, shopping and restaurants but is also just far enough away to seem like a remote, private beach getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Parking is free and conveniently just outside your room. Guests say parking is hard to find in the area, especially on the beach, and appreciated not having to worry about their cars.

Guests say the hotel is wonderful, kept very clean but is in need of some remodeling. Queen's Gate is currently slowly renovating, one room at a time, but meanwhile, you may run into some of the not yet upgraded rooms. Guests say they have run into old furnishings, mildew on chairs and in drawers, and a musty smell in the rooms.

The plumbing seems to be in need of upgrading as well. Several guests have complained about inconsistent water temperature. A couple also mentioned having no hot water during their stay.

While most guests have had no complains, several guests mentioned hearing their neighbors quite well through the thin walls. Guests staying near the office could even hear the front desk phone ringing. A few also mentioned that their air conditioning was too noisy to sleep with. As a precaution, it's advisable to bring earplugs.
