Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport is only a few minutes away and is even within walking distance depending on how much baggage you are carrying. Downtown Sarasota is around a ten minute drive away and Bradenton is a little further away in the opposite direction at just 20-minutes away and only a short walk away from the hotel you will find Sarasota Kennel Club Dog Racing where there is a greyhound track, poker room, restaurant and clubhouse.

The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service which is perfect for the airport and it will even drop you off at and pick you up from wherever you would like to go within the local area such as restaurants or downtown Sarasota.

Members of staff from the shuttle drivers to those working on the front desk are all very friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to bring a smile to your face and ensure that you have an enjoyable stay here.

Obviously with a location so close to the airport there will be some noise form airplanes, but most found this to be acceptable with only a very small handful reporting a disturbance and furthermore ear plugs are offered to guests.

The carpets are quite dirty and stained and are in need of a good clean in addition to the upholstery on chairs having some stains and either needing a clean or a replacement.

Although this is a no-smoking hotel the smokers still smoke near to the front entrance which means having to encounter a cloud of smoke when you enter the building.
