Skiers and snowboarders loved the proximity of ski slopes in the eastern Sierra Nevada. It was also conveniently close to downtown, gas stations, bus stops and restaurants. Drivers appreciated the free parking.

The modernized rooms were reportedly basic but appealed to visitors, who liked the flat-screen TVs and new look decor. Many said their rooms were clean, well-maintained and comfortable.
