The condos, studios and townhouses at Juniper Springs Resort are nicely clean and spacious with really lovely views of the mountains. It's great to have a fireplace included and the fully equipped kitchen is convenient. The beds are really comfortable, with good pillows as well.
The area is very nice and quite beautiful. There are some lovely walks in the vicinity. Within a couple of miles there are places to eat and a gas station. If you don't want to drive then there is also a free shuttle bus.
The staff at this hotel will greet you warmly and will give you excellent tips about where to go around town, such as which restaurants to eat at, where to get coffee. You can also get a map at the front desk.
There is a lack of on site dining available at Juniper Springs Resort. If you don't want to cook for yourself, you will heave to head into town. The shuttle bus will take you to a restaurant, but it's not as convenient as being able to dine on site.
It can get very warm indeed during the summer months, and the lack of any kind of air-conditioning means it gets uncomfortably toasty. This might make it hard to get to sleep at night.
The property could use a bit of refurbishment. Some of the hallways feel a bit dark and the carpets are worn, with a few stains here and there. A spruce up would do the world of good.
