Hotel Meriem (Marrakech, Morocco)

The rooms are said to be spacious and were clean and tidy, with comfortable furnishings. The rooms had most of the basic amenities such as the mini fridges and some had balconies to relax on.

The guests who were there during the warmer months appreciated there was a pool and solarium available in the hotel. They liked the views from there and enjoyed relaxing there.

The hotel is close to the shopping area and is a couple of minutes walk away from there. Various eateries and shops are nearby. The train and bus stations are an easy walking distance from the hotel, and the new city is close by as well.

The breakfast was found to be poor and not appetizing by many guests who thought the presentation was not good. They would have preferred to have had a good quality breakfast as they thought the hotel was of high standards. The breakfast did not reflect this.

Some guests had some experiences that made them feel as though this hotel was not a four-star hotel as it is advertised. They felt the breakfast was not good, the Wi-Fi was poor and the reception service was not very professional.

The Wi-Fi was found to be poor as it did not work at all in the rooms, and many guests found this annoying. They would have preferred to have had the Internet work in the privacy of their rooms, not just in the lobby area.
