The staff is professional and helpful and deal with all the problems amicably. All the minor problems are sorted on a quick and efficient manner. The customer service is very good indicating that the hotel values its guests and suggestions given are taken in a positive manner.
As reported by the guests, the shower head is loose, and is held by one screw. The showering experience is bad owing to the loose fixture and low pressure. Also, the bathroom extractor fan made large noises. The bathroom needs to be revamped.
Some minor issues like the stains in ceiling, tired walls and a few broken tiles indicate that there is need of a makeover. In some parts the broken tiles are mended by coloured tapes, which is not appreciated by the guests. Since the hotel is traditional, it has its own limitations like lack of lift.
Since there is a restaurant and bar below, a few guests complained of noises coming from the bar. Also, as the walls are thin, noise of furniture being moved or people talking in other room may be heard.
