The hotel is conveniently located a short distance from JFK Airport which ensures that guests will have relatively stress-free last day in New York and will not have to worry about an arduous journey to a distant airport, especially as the hotel provides complimentary airport transportation. Guests can also access Manhattan with relative ease from their Jamaica, Queens location via public transport and from there guests can visit a wide range of New York attractions that include the Empire State Building, Times Square and Central Park as well as the numerous shops, bars and restaurants that populate the city. There are also many bars, cafes and restaurants in the area near the hotel.

A stay at this Hampton Inn location comes with many complimentary amenities that include free high-speed Wi-Fi access, complimentary and effective airport transportation and a complimentary breakfast each morning, which many guests found to be satisfying and delicious. All of these amenities combined with the hotel's price and location ensure that a stay at this hotel is exceedingly good value for money.

The rooms are well-sized and fitted with modern amenities that will replicate the comforts of home; guests enjoyed the fairly large beds and the high-standard of cleanliness that the hotel maintained throughout the room. The clean appearance continued to all areas of the hotel.

Some guests were disappointed with the fact that the hotel did not have any on-site restaurant to serve evening meals or a bar.

The hotel staff and the shuttle bus drivers were found to be indifferent and uninterested by some guests however others had the opposite experience and found them very pleasant.

A number of guests found the air-conditioning in the rooms to be very noisy and found this to be annoying at night.
