Hôtel Montparnasse Daguerre is a small property, and there are not many public facilities. Reception is available 24 hours and can assist with local information. A basic buffet breakfast can be enjoyed in the breakfast room, or your own room. As or other meals, the gourmet capital of the world beckons beyond your door. Both the station and the Tour Montparnasse, from where the best views of Paris can be had, are just 700 yards from the hotel. As for the star attractions, the Eiffel Tower is 2.2 miles away, while the Louvre is two miles to the north.
While the location, near Montparnasse Station, is not exactly in the heart of tourist Paris, guests appreciated the proximity to the station, and to the metro system, from where all of Paris was accessible. Also mentioned was the easy access to Charles de Gaulle Airport.
While room-rates do of course vary over time, an extraordinary number of guests mentioned that they believed they received excellent value for money. Though the rooms were small, and the location wasn't 100% perfect, this was all forgotten about on account of the excellent room-rate they received.
While it did not appear to be anything special, just a simple buffet, the breakfast at the hotel was said to be surprisingly good value compared to what was available at surrounding cafes.
