Hotel Mistral (Paris, France)

Metro and train station are a few minutes’ walk away. The local area offers a choice of cafes and restaurants and attractions such as the Catacombs of Paris and the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art which are 10-minutes’ walk away. There is also a hop-on-hop-off bus route 10-minutes’ away. The Luxembourg Gardens are 20-minutes’ walk away and Parc Montsouris is 25-minutes’ walk away. The Edgar Quinet metro station gives direct access to the Eiffel Tower which can be reached in 30-minutes.

Though some rooms may be on the small side, guests found them to be comfortable and cosy rather than cramped. The rooms are clean and have modern and charming decor. The heated towel rack is a nice touch for drying towels as well as small items of laundry. The hotel itself is also lovely and picturesque and set in a quiet location.

The staff are very hospitable, friendly and attentive. Guests felt welcomed and staff readily assisted with tourist information, directions and restaurant recommendations.

Several guests mentioned that the size of the rooms are very small, with the Standard rooms being the smallest. To store your luggage, you may need to get creative with how or where you put it away.

Although the local neighbourhood is quiet, the hotel has ‘thin’ walls and some guests were disturbed by the sounds of neighbouring guests.

Considering the small size of the rooms and that breakfast is not included in the room rate, some guests felt that the hotel was overpriced for what was offered.
