Hotel Diana (Brisbane, Australia)

The property is close to local hospitals which are only 500 metres walk from the hotel and for guests visiting loved ones in hospital, the easy access was the best feature of their stay.

The bus interchange at Wollongabba is only a four minute walk from the hotel and for previous guests who had business in the city the proximity was useful as it was easy to get into and out of the centre of town.  Buses also go to suburban areas from this bus interchange.

Guests wanting to take their meals close to the hotel commented that there were plenty of cafes and restaurants close by to suite any taste. There is also a Coles supermarket a seven minute walk from the hotel

Guests who ate at the hotel commented that the breakfast was average at best with a limited of selection of breakfast items served in run down and outdated dining rooms.  Guests also commented that the restraurant attached to the hotel is also now closed.

A number of people were less than impressed by the standard of cleaning at the hotel with some not getting a daily service not happy that their rooms were not cleaned on their return. These guests left negative reviews about the hotel.

A number of guests had the unfortunate timing of staying at the hotel during a period of renovation and these guests complained in their reviews about the disruption to their stay.  Many commented that they would have liked to have been pre-warned about the works as they would have stayed elsewhere.
