This resort has a semi-private beach as well as a pool area surrounded by plenty of sun beds. Guests can enjoy a meal and a drink from the complex’s Tropix Tiki Bar, but nearby eating options include Sand Beach Bar & Grill and Pan Filo’s for tacos and sandwiches. This hotel is within walking distance of a number of shops and restaurants, but with Sand Key Park and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium just minutes from this complex, there is also ample opportunity for visitors to explore the area’s natural beauty.
The majority of guests were happy to find that this property is well-situated to explore a number of local attractions. Whether visitors wanted to go dolphin spotting or do a spot of shopping, this resort's location put a variety of activities within close reach. Additionally, when it came to food, guests were practically spoilt for choice, with a number of eateries situated within walking distance of the property.
The tropical pool area - surrounded by grass huts, waterfalls and lush greenery - was a real crowd-pleaser. In fact, for many - especially younger guests - it was the true focal point of this hotel. While the suites here were clean and stays were all-around solid, the pool area was this property's most memorable feature.
Close to local attractions and reasonably well-appointed, this complex proved to be a real hit with families. Additionally, a number of guests felt that this all-suites accommodation represented excellent value for money for the area.
Despite its good points, a number of guests couldn't help but ask one question: where's the beach? The answer: just across the street. While the sugary sands of Clearwater were just a few steps away from their suites, some were disappointed to find that this property wasn't right on the shore.
From guest reviews, it appears that housekeeping is available at this property for an additional fee. Some were caught unawares by this, but for others, a dated interior was something of a letdown - especially for those enchanted by the complex's glamorous pool area.
