Cherry Garth is a traditional 19th century Lakeland house set on five acres of landscaped lawns and gardens. Spacious rooms feature cosy decor and boast lovely views of the countryside. Flat screen TV with DVD player and tea/coffee facilities are standard. There is a fee for in-room Wi-Fi. This family-run Guesthouse is pet-friendly. A private car park and free Wi-Fi in the public spaces are a plus. Breakfast is included in your stay. Cherry Garth serves breakfast only, but there are dozens of reatuarants and bars in Ambleside which is a two-minute walk away. Try the Old Stamphouse Restaurant for continental cuisine or Stiles for sandwiches and baked goods. Waterhead Pier on Lake Windermere is a short walk away, as are the shops and restaurants of Ambleside. Or you can take a short drive to South Lakes Wildlife Park, Dove Cottage or Sizerg Castle.
