Hotel Blauer Bock is a 3 star family run hotel that is located right in the heart of Munich’s historic Old Town. It is one of the oldest buildings in the city dating back over four centuries. It was once used to house royalty and, at a different period, Benedictine monks. The hotel has been carefully restored retaining many of its original features but these have now been mixed with modern amenities like complimentary wireless Internet throughout the building. Extra touches in the rooms include works of art and handmade lamps. The hotel has 75 individually designed rooms spread over 4 floors. Most of the rooms overlook a quiet courtyard but those on the fourth floor of the building have views of the city’s historic towers. Facilities at the hotel include a 24 hour reception, restaurant, bar, car park, safety deposit boxes at reception and a TV lounge. Non smoking rooms and baby cribs are available on request.
