A real highlight comes in the form of these swimming pools. Open all year, in a peaceful garden setting and with those gas grills in sight ... it's difficult to resist the temptation to just chill out here and enjoy a BBQ.
If you can tear yourself away from the motel pool, it's well worth a 30 minute drive to Lettuce Lake to see all the wildlife, birds and even alligators. There's so much to do here and so little time!
If you have difficulty sleeping, a room to the rear of the motel is best. Clearwater Bay is a real draw so there's a lot of traffic all the time.
There's a bit of a list here. Fridges, microwaves and furniture generally, have all seen better days and need updating. The same goes for the air con; noisy, opinionated and keen to make its presence felt! They seem to have lost interest in the impressive outdoor areas. The garden, for instance, could be fantastic ... with just a little effort.
The toilet unit is very small and extremely low on the ground. In another area, car parking slots are very tight and difficult to navigate. This is also a popular holiday destination for mosquitoes and numerous other insects.
