The Holiday Inn NYC is located in New York's vibrant Lower East Side, which is home to a huge selection of bars, cafes and restaurants as well as a renowned nightlife scene. Guests can immerse themselves in this exciting New York area and they can also explore other parts of Manhattan and New York's outer boroughs as they are never more than a couple of blocks away from a subway station. Guests can easily access New York attractions like the Empire State Building, Central Park and Fifth Avenue by the public transport links that are conveniently located in close proximity to the hotel.

The rooms are stylishly decorated and are fitted with a wide range of modern amenities such as a television with cable channels. The beds are fairly large and very comfortable and, thanks to a diligent daily housekeeping staff, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and hygienic.

The staff are incredibly friendly and courteous, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that will make guests feel comfortable. They are more than happy to help with arranging any of the services the front desk provides as well as helping with booking tickets and tours.

While the vast majority of guests considered the location to be a positive aspect of staying at this hotel, some guests found the noise generated by the busy New York area to be somewhat annoying.

A recurring complaint from guests was that the air-conditioning units in the rooms are very loud and this was somewhat disturbing during the night when trying to sleep.

The Wi-Fi, while free, is on the slow side; its connection is intermittent and its connectivity speed is patchy at best. However, most guests would recommend staying at this hotel.
