The Zoo Run Monarto Zoo will take place on 2 August 2015 and it is not any ordinary fun run. The Zoo Run is organised by the not-for-profit charity Wildlife Emergency Ltd. and aims to raise much needed funds for wildlife hospitals and conservation charities around Australia. Funds from the 2015 event will be redirected to the Save the Bears Fund and Wildlife Emergency Ltd, who plan to set up a Wildlife Education Centre on Bribie Island. There are actually two other Zoo Runs in Australia planned for 2015, including on Bribie Island, just north of Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, in conjunction with Seaworld.
