Kempten Residence (Kempten, Germany)

Das 750 gegründete Benediktinerstift wurde während des 30-jährigen Krieges zerstört. 1652 wurde die erste große, barocke Klosteranlage Deutschlands wieder aufgebaut. Heute kann man hier im Rahmen einer Führung die prunkvollen Herrschaftsräume besichtigen. In dem Gebäude befindet sich außerdem das Amts- und Landgericht Kempten. Führungen (Einzelpersonen) in den Prunkräumen der Residenz: April bis September: täglich außer Montag ca. alle 45 Minuten von 9 bis 16 Uhr Oktober: täglich außer Montag ca. alle 45 Minuten von 10 bis 16 Uhr November bis März: samstags ca. alle 45 Minuten von 10 bis 16 Uhr Dezember: während des Weihnachtsmarktes Sonderführungszeiten - Keine Anmeldung erforderlich! - Treffpunkt: Residenz, Eingang Westseite Dauer: ca. 1 Stunde Eintritt: 3,- EUR Gruppenführungen und fremdsprachige Führungen sind nur nach Anmeldung möglich Kosten: 25,- EUR + Eintritt Gruppen: 2,- EUR (ab 20 Personen)
