A major reason to visit Visby for anyone interested in Scandinavian history, Gotlands Fornsal is the Visby part of the Gotland County Museum and its prime exhibits are on the ground floor in the form of Iron age “pictorial stones”, like Viking stones but with pictures rather than runes to tell a story.
