Located in the centre of town at Solomos Square the museum is housed in a neoclassic style building. The building was built after the earthquake that destroyed the whole town in 1953. Exhibits on show are from the Byzantine period and you can view icons, carvings, sculptures and paintings. A model of the town can also be seen which shows the town as it was pre-earthquake. The visiting hours are: Tuesday to Sunday 0830 - 1500
