The Garden Hotel & Restaurant (Bangor, United Kingdom)

The family that run this hotel are always on hand to help out with the guests. They are extremely friendly and love to stop and chat. No matter what it is that you want they will try their best to accommodate you.

Whether you're in town to visit the university or to see the local tourist attractions, this place is the best base for your trip. You'll find that there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and that all the best shops are within walking distance too.

Chinese food isn't to everyone's taste but don't worry as a full English is served each morning which is rather tasty. The meals in the restaurant are said to be excellent with plenty on the plate, and all of it cooked to perfection.

This place is a quite old fashioned and not in a cool boutique kind of way. It's starting to get a bit shabby, and there are some very obvious signs of wear and tear throughout the building.

This is a regular little B&B but is branded as a hotel. The rooms are small and the facilities a little old. This makes it a bit overpriced even for a city centre hotel. It's in a great location but really needs to drop the prices or update the rooms.

The rooms have thin walls, and you can hear everything that is going on throughout the hotel. This means that when the staff wake up early for their shift, you can hear them moving around the building. Not ideal for light sleepers.
