The rates at this hotel are quite reasonable, and the food is also priced fairly. It's great to see a village inn that hasn't hiked its prices due to the demand for quality local food and cosy accommodation. Free parking is a bonus but, unfortunately, no Wi-Fi in the rooms.
Although the restaurant and bar areas have been refurbished to a high standard, the rooms are in need of some TLC. They are getting a little worn, and there are some quite obvious signs of wear and tear throughout.
Some guests were unhappy to find mildew in the bathrooms and some dust and dirt in their rooms upon arrival. Perhaps the staff are waiting for the rooms to be renovated before they spend too much time cleaning them.
