The hotel provides ironing facilities, dressing gown, and slippers, as well as tea making utensils. It's a lovely touch that helps to make your stay at the hotel memorable.

The authentic, traditional design of the hotel is still in view. You have contemporary extensions added throughout the years, which shows that they keep up the maintenance of the housing. The staircases and awkward shaped rooms are interesting as well. However, you may feel a bit disappointed if you are expecting more historically designed rooms. The rooms are more contemporary and do not really match the outside.

The hotel is quiet, which is lovely if that's what you are looking for during your stay.

In order to get to the parking area you have to go down a slope, which can be annoying and tricky to master. If you have passengers, luggage, and anything else that might be heavier than a paper bag, it's best to drop those off prior to parking.

Maybe you are one of the few, but most people on holiday expect their accommodation to have air conditioning in order to endure hot weather comfortably, especially hotels with a *4* star rating. Hot air fans are no substitute!

The restaurant staff seems to have missed hospitality class. The service and attitude leaves visitors baffled and does not suggest that the hotel is a nice place to stay or have a meal.
