Ashbury Bed & Breakfast is set in the town of Malvern, a cosy town snuggled amongst the flanks of the impressive Malvern Hills. The B&B is located in a large, sophisticated, Victorian house established in the late 1800s. Guests can take pleasure in complimentary tea and home-made cake upon arrival. Rooms are furnished with a TV, Wi-Fi, en suite bathroom, coffee making utensils, and hairdryer. Some rooms include a fireplace. Amenities include off street-parking and tour and ticket assistance. The beds are comfortable and everything in the bathroom works perfectly. The bathroom even has a window that you can actually open. The road is considerably quiet and the infrequent traffic is not a problem, even if your windows are open.
The B&B owners are a wonderful pair and full of information concerning the local attractions, restaurants, and pubs. They will even offer to make reservations for you. Check-out the Nag's Head it's a great pub in the area. The breakfast is delicious at the B&B and they offer a broad choice of hot and cold foods.
As soon as you arrive at the B&B, you are greeted with a warm welcome. You are given an in depth tour of the place and then taken to your room. The rooms is clean, the linens are fresh, and the furnishings appear brand new. The shower is great as well.
The B&B location is a bit hilly. Though it's lovely, you may easily tire out. If you can complete the on-hour walk from the Ashbury onto the Malvern Hills you will have access to fantastic views. However, it's best not to tempt it if you have difficulty climbing hills.
It seems that the Wi-Fi works quite well upstairs, but dies out downstairs on the ground floor. If you don't need Wi-Fi while downstairs, you won't have any problem.
You may end up in a room that is considerably small without a view. If possible, check while making your booking or once you arrive if your room has a picturesque view. If the view is nice, perhaps the size won't matter too much.
