Lots of reviewers remarked that they were pleased with the customer service, describing staff as mostly knowledgeable, organized, pleasant and helpful. Some reviewers praised the staff for having a can do attitude.

Most guests enjoyed a pleasant stay and described the rooms as being adequately spacious and cleaned to a good standard. The big posh beds were appreciated and described as comfy by most guests, who also liked the powerful showers in the bathrooms.

On the whole, guests thought they got decent value for money from their stay due to the comfortable and clean rooms plus the convenient location close to road links and within striking distance of Redditch town center.

Some visitors were critical of the free Wi-Fi service provided in the hotel, claiming it was too slow to be useful. Visitors can upgrade to get access to a faster network, but there are charges for using it.

Light sleepers reported occasional noise from the car park and adjacent rooms as being audible in their bedrooms. While many guests appreciated the air-conditioning in the rooms, it was centrally controlled and meant that windows did not open. So occasionally visitors described feeling uncomfortably warm at night, especially during the summer months.

The food got a mixed response from visitors. While some were perfectly happy with their dining experience at the attached Beefeater restaurant, others thought it was lacklustre. Critical diners occasionally reported long waits for food and an uninspiring menu choice.
