Negative Reviews
negative:
Dated communal areas.
Some guests said that the hotel’s communal rooms including the lounge and the bar were looking rather tired and dated and were in need of modernisation. Tatty looking upholstery and worn carpets were just some of the issues raised by the disappointed guests.
negative:
Noisy parties.
Loud music and noise from the function rooms which often went on until the early hours prevented some guests from getting a good night’s sleep. Guests whose rooms were closest to the bar and the disco seemed to be the worst affected.
negative:
Issues with the bar.
The bar has been described as small and cramped with not enough seating which made some guests reluctant to spend much time there. Guests also observed that the bar was often very busy but that there was only one member of staff serving.
